The CRO is an institution that began its activity in 1969 and became a company in 1975. Initially, the activity of the Center was of an outpatient rehabilitation type and mainly aimed at all subjects with problems relating to verbal communication. and in particular of deaf people. The initial aim was to offer an alternative to the institutionalization of these subjects.
Shortly thereafter, an outpatient medical diagnosis service developed within the Institute, which over the years has carved out a prominent place within the Florentine healthcare panorama.
The CRO’s outpatient activity developed thanks to the collaboration with a large group of medical specialists with extensive experience in head and neck pathologies.
With the ugly term “neuropsychiatrist” (which too often directs parents towards the suggestion of a psychiatric pathology rather than towards the universe of infantile psychological evolution) we mean a central medical figure for the study of the psycho-physical development of the child.
