The centers either have an in-depth speech therapy focus or offer speech development classes with speech therapists and defectologists as part of a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. It is important for parents to understand that speech has a close relationship with many mental processes that need to be corrected and developed. Lack of attention to this area can lead to general underdevelopment or loss of the child's speech. At the first visit to the patient, clinic specialists conduct neuropsychological and speech therapy diagnostics, develop individual correction programs, and prescribe consultations.
