  • Familiarization of parents and professionals with behavioral intervention methods, and follow-up.
  • Introduction and development of a modern scientific approach to the rehabilitation of children with disabilities.
  • Actively disseminate ABA principles and expand their applicability.

The Center participates and organizes social events, parent support groups, training courses and seminars dedicated to the problems of children with disabilities. To provide high-quality and progressive service, the CPPA cooperates with professionals in related fields and takes part in scientific and educational projects.

The method of work is Applied Behavior Analysis. Specialists practice an approach that is the most developed, evidence-based and recognized tool for the rehabilitation of people with developmental disabilities.

Applied Behavior Analysis is an applied psychological method based on the principles laid down by the founders of behaviorism I.P. Pavlov and B.F. Skinner. The modern behavioral approach owes its leading position in work with ASD to a growing stream of empirical research and observations published on a regular basis since 1968.

Based on the results of many years of practice, the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis are effectively used in behavior correction and learning. Behavioral intervention has established itself as the most effective of the existing methods of correction, improvement of socialization, social and environmental adaptation of children with serious developmental difficulties.

Group lessons are aimed at:

  • Teaching social interaction and group behavior of children 2-3 years old;
  • Work with problematic behavior, communication, socialization, play skills and leisure activities for children 4-5 years old;
  • Preparation for school of children 6-7 years old;
  • Work with problematic behavior, communication with peers, academic skills and learning behavior, correctional and developmental work for children from 8 years old.

Before the child starts classes in social and communicative groups, a diagnostic procedure is carried out:

  1. Functional Behavior Assessment: conducting a series of observations of the problem behavior of the child and drawing up a correction plan;
  2. Testing according to methods for assessing verbal behavior (VB-MAPPABLLS-R). These methods are used to develop an individual plan for teaching skills that provide functional communication;
  3. For early intervention groups, the methodology is used as a diagnostic tool. DAY-C The advantage of this technique is that it allows you to assess the development of children aged 0 to 5 years 11 months in areas such as:
  • cognitive development;
  • Communication;
  • Socio-emotional development;
  • Physical development;
  • adaptive behavior.
